Heather Anne Thomas (born Heather Anne Thomas) is an American actor, author and activist. She became famous for playing Jody Banks in the"The Fall Guy" Adventure Show. As a young girl Thomas was host of the NBC TV series 'Talking with the Giant.' She then went on to pursue a diploma in Film and Theatre from ULCA before making guest appearances in TV programs, like 'California Fever', 'Co-Ed Fever' and the 'The Misadventures Of Sheriff Lobo'. Her breakthrough occurred in the year 1981 when her part as the leading lady in 'The Fall Guy" was confirmed. The show, which ran for five seasons, was very popular across the United States and also made Thomas an international household name. Since then, she has been a part of numerous television films and shows. She was nominated for the Gemini Award in 1987 for her performance in Ford: The Man and the Machine which was a made for television movie. Thomas began to focus more on the personal side of her life and in 1998 she decided not to act anymore. Thomas is an active participant in various charity organizations, as well as a published author and scriptwriter.
