Kim Delaney (born Kim Delaney) is an American actress best well-known for her character of Detective Diane Russell in ABCs NYPD Blue in which she was awarded the Emmy Award. Kim Delaney is famous as the character Detective Diane Russell on ABC's NYPD Blue. She also appeared on the drama series All My Children Philly, CSI: Miami, and Army Wives. Delaney is the sole child of the United Auto Workers senior executive and domestic worker was raised by her four brothers and sisters. In childhood, Delaney dreamed of becoming a reporter for the court. The first time she began modeling was in highschool and eventually gained commercial roles when she moved to New York. Delaney was portrayed as a young innocent in 1981's soap opera All My Children. Delaney was a talented young actress who was in her 20s, appeared in numerous TV shows as well as dramas. Like her career but her personal life hasn't been a success or happy one. Her personal life has been a mess. She's had two unsuccessful marriages and struggled with alcohol addiction. In 2005, the actress was denied the custody of her son.
